PRIVACY POLICY
Last updated: September 20, 2026
This policy explains what personal information Forged Society collects when you visit our website, place an order or contact us, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it.
If anything in our Terms & Conditions conflicts with this policy, this policy applies to how your personal information is handled.
INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Depending on how you use our website, we may collect:
- Contact details, such as your name, email address, phone number, and billing and shipping address.
- Order information, such as the products you view, add to your cart, buy, return or cancel.
- Payment information, such as your payment method and transaction details. Card payments are handled by secure third-party payment providers, and we never see your full card details.
- Account information, such as your login details and preferences, if you create an account.
- Messages you send us, for example when you contact us about an order.
- Device and usage information, such as your IP address, browser, device and how you use our website.
Most of this comes directly from you when you place an order, sign up for our emails or contact us. Some is collected automatically through cookies when you use the website, and some comes from the companies that help us run the store, such as our payment and shipping providers.
HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We use your information to:
- Process, ship and support your orders, including returns and refunds.
- Reply to your messages and give customer support.
- Send you marketing emails, if you have signed up for them.
- Show you relevant ads on other websites and social media, if you have allowed marketing cookies.
- Keep our website and payments secure and prevent fraud.
- Improve our website and products.
- Meet our legal obligations, such as keeping tax and accounting records.
We only do this where the law allows it: to carry out our contract with you when you order, with your consent for marketing emails and non-essential cookies, for our legitimate interests in keeping the store secure and improving it, or because the law requires it.
SHARING YOUR INFORMATION
We do not sell your personal information. We only share it with companies that help us run the store, including:
- Shopify, which hosts our website and processes orders.
- Payment providers, to process your payment.
- Shipping carriers, to deliver your order.
- Our email provider, to send the emails you signed up for.
- Advertising and analytics partners, where you have allowed cookies for this.
We may also share information where the law requires it, to protect our rights, or if our business is sold or merged.
Shopify also collects and processes information about how you use our website to provide and improve its services, and for some features Shopify is responsible for that processing itself. You can read how Shopify uses your information in the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy and exercise your rights through the Shopify Privacy Portal.
Some of these companies may process your information outside the EU and the UK. When that happens, it is protected by approved safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
COOKIES
We use cookies to keep the website working, for example to remember what is in your cart. With your permission, we also use them for analytics and marketing. You can change your choice at any time through the cookie banner or your browser settings.
STORAGE & SECURITY
We keep your information only as long as we need it: to handle your order and any returns, to meet legal requirements such as keeping tax records, or to resolve disputes. If you have signed up for our emails, we keep your email address until you unsubscribe.
We use trusted providers and take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no system is completely secure. Please do not send us sensitive information through unsecured channels.
YOUR RIGHTS
If you are in the EU or UK, you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct information that is wrong.
- Have your information deleted.
- Restrict or object to how we use your information.
- Receive a copy of your information or have it transferred to another company.
- Withdraw your consent at any time, for example by unsubscribing from our emails.
To use any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, contact us first and we will try to resolve it. You can also complain to your local data protection authority. In Lithuania that is the State Data Protection Inspectorate (vdai.lrv.lt), and in the UK it is the ICO (ico.org.uk).
CHILDREN
Our website is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of majority where they live. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has given us their information, contact us and we will delete it.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this policy when our business, our website or the law changes. The latest version will always be available on this page, with the date it was last updated at the top.
